Molly Johnson’s artistic knowledge and ability stems from intensive training at the American Academy of Art, Kewaunee Academy of Fine Art, and numerous studies with some of today’s great artists. Her subject spectrum embraces landscape, still life and figurative. Having had award winning pieces in both watercolor and oil, she understands and enjoys how each medium compliments and challenges the other.
Molly’s hope is that the viewer’s experience of her stories on canvas and paper will inspire deep and meaningful associations within their own lives. She is thankful for her gifts and enjoys paying it forward through donating a portion of her proceeds to charities.
She resides in Denmark, WI with her husband and five children. Molly is currently renovating the hundred-year-old feed mill next to her home into a functioning work / exhibition space. The Denmark News ran a feature story on the transformation in progress, which you can view here.
